Appleton Academy Named Secondary School of the Year
Exceed Academies Trust is thrilled to congratulate Appleton Academy, which has been named Secondary School of the Year 2025 at the Telegraph & Argus Education Awards, beating strong competition from across the district.
The award recognises the Academy’s transformational journey, strong community spirit, and commitment to giving every student the opportunity to succeed.
The judges praised Appleton’s commitment to excellence, inclusion, and student success. Staff, governors, families, and pupils were all celebrated for their contribution to the Academy’s journey.
The award ceremony, held on 3 April 2025, was a proud moment for Appleton Academy and Exceed Academies Trust.
