This practical session is designed for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and teachers new to the profession who want to build confidence in supporting pupils using English as an Additional Language (EAL), particularly those who are New to English or in the Early Acquisition stages.

Explore what makes classroom English difficult to understand and discover simple, practical strategies for giving clear instructions, making language more accessible and checking understanding effectively — both in and beyond the classroom.
