Training the Next Generation of Teachers
Exceed SCITT provides school-based initial teacher training across primary and secondary phases.
This approach ensures that trainees develop their practice within real classroom settings, supported by experienced practitioners and strong partnerships between schools.
Training programmes are designed to support trainees to become confident, reflective and effective teachers.
Our Approach
Initial Teacher Training at Exceed is based on:
- Strong partnerships between schools and training providers
- High-quality mentoring and support
- Opportunities to apply learning in classroom practice
- A clear focus on improving outcomes for pupils
This approach ensures that trainees are well prepared for the profession and able to continue developing as part of the wider teacher development journey.
Working in Partnership
Exceed SCITT works with a wide range of partner schools across Bradford and the wider region.
Through this partnership model, schools contribute to the development of new teachers while strengthening their own workforce and capacity.
