The Prospectus brings together training, programmes, networks and collaborative opportunities available to staff across our schools and wider partnerships. It reflects our belief that professional development is most effective when it combines high-quality training with strong peer support and collaboration.
Our Professional Development Offer
The CPD Prospectus includes a wide range of opportunities designed to support staff at every stage of their career. This includes:
- Training – including leadership, safeguarding, HR, health and safety and specialist programmes
- Networks – subject, phase and role-based networks that enable colleagues to share expertise and work collaboratively
- Working Groups – focused groups supporting Trust priorities such as artificial intelligence and equity, diversity and belonging
- Programmes – structured development opportunities for staff, including teaching assistants and leadership development
- Conferences and events – bringing together leaders, governors and staff to share practice and develop thinking
Across all of these areas, the Prospectus reflects our commitment to developing people, sharing expertise and strengthening provision across our schools.
Collaboration and Peer Support
A key feature of our professional development offer is the opportunity for staff to work collaboratively across the Trust.
Through networks, working groups and shared programmes, colleagues are able to:
- Share expertise and effective practice
- Develop their leadership and subject knowledge
- Work in partnership with colleagues from other schools
- Access support from experienced practitioners across the Trust
This includes access to “Exceed Expert Colleagues”, who provide bespoke peer-to-peer support across a range of areas including safeguarding, SEND, curriculum and attendance.
Specialist and Partnership Opportunities
The Prospectus also includes specialist opportunities and partnerships that extend beyond individual schools, including:
- English as an Additional Language (EAL) Hub programmes delivered across the region
- Collaboration with curriculum hubs and national organisations
- Training and development linked to innovation, including artificial intelligence
These opportunities ensure that staff benefit from both Trust-wide collaboration and wider system expertise.
