About the Programme
Adaptive Teaching: Train the Trainer is designed for school leaders/teachers responsible for improving teaching and learning.
The programme supports participants to develop their understanding of adaptive teaching and to lead professional development within their own school.
Through this approach, schools are supported to develop sustainable models of professional development that strengthen teaching over time.
Programme Overview
This programme uses a “train-the-trainer” model, equipping participants with the knowledge, skills and resources needed to support colleagues in their own setting.
Participants will:
- Develop a deeper understanding of adaptive teaching
- Access practical tools and resources to support professional development
- Apply evidence-informed strategies to classroom practice
- Support colleagues to improve teaching and learning across their setting
Who the Programme is For
The programme is suitable for:
- Senior and middle leaders
- Staff responsible for teaching and learning
- Colleagues supporting inclusive practice and SEND provision
How the Programme is Delivered
The programme is delivered over three half terms and includes a combination of face-to-face and facilitated sessions.
- One in-person conference focused on adaptive teaching and professional development design
- Twilight sessions to support planning, implementation and evaluation
These sessions support participants to apply their learning within their own context and to develop effective professional development approaches.
